The summer season is here and we had the pleasure to meet the nightclub managers Melker Wernberg and Angelo Rojas of Berns Nightclubs this week. Get to know who they are and what is new this season at Berns Terrassen.

Melker

Get ready for some unbeatable vibes at Berns Nightlife because Melker, former nightclub manager at the Södra Teatern, is stepping in to elevate the scene, starting this summer at the Terrassen, he’s incredibly excited to curate the most epic parties Stockholm has ever seen.

Originally from Gothenburg, Melker is officially joining the Berns Nightlife team on May 30th. He’s been living in Stockholm for the past five years, and his resume is packed with experience in entertainment, film, fashion, and the nightclub industry. He’s done it all—from co-producing the ELLE Gala’s fashion shows to working as a freelance photographer. This guy is a multi-creative powerhouse who brings a unique flair to everything he touches.

Melker’s daily routine is anything but boring. He kicks off his day with a workout to get in the right headspace, ensuring he’s always ready to tackle the day’s challenges. And here’s a fun fact you probably didn’t know: Melker loves to cook. Picture this—he’s in the kitchen, belting out Frank Sinatra tunes while whipping up a killer pasta dish. His passion for food and music adds a delightful twist to his dynamic personality.

Melker’s journey from Gothenburg to Stockholm has been driven by his love for the nightlife industry and his desire to create memorable experiences. His extensive background in managing and producing high-profile events makes him the perfect fit for Berns Nightlife. Whether it’s a glamorous fashion show or an electrifying party, Melker knows how to set the stage and create an unforgettable atmosphere.

Angelo Rojas

If you’ve been to NEU this winter, you’ve probably seen Angelo on the floor. Starting at NEU last September, Angelo Rojas is now gearing up to set the best summer vibes at Berns Terrassen. As a club manager, he helps set the strategy for concepts, book DJs, set the DJ schedule, and organize events and activities. He works closely with the marketing department to make sure they reach the right channels and is also on-site as a mood manager, ensuring it’s always a party and that guests have a fantastic experience.
Angelo has a decade of experience in the industry, starting as a bartender and working at places like NEU when it first opened, Sture Hof, Sturecompagniet, Wall, Spy Bar, Hell’s Kitchen, and East. He also began as a DJ at various spots and ran different concepts, like Sundays at F12. Additionally, he’s been the music manager at Obaren, Lägenheten, and Innergården.

When Angelo isn’t working, he dives into music and explores his passion for food by visiting different restaurants. His favorite dish at Berns Asiatiska is the sushi, especially the sashimi, paired with a top-notch Bloody Mary. He recommends two must-visit places: Surfers and Leijontornet.
Reflecting on his career, Angelo finds NEU (today) and Lägenheten to be his most fun projects. As a music enthusiast, the best performance he’s ever attended was in Portimão, Portugal – an absolutely incredible experience. His dream guest DJ? That would be Raresh.

The popular AW concept, Good Vibes, is also moving up to the Terrace, promising even more unforgettable evenings.
